Border Collie Muzzle: Sharp vs. Short - Characteristics Explained

Specifically, a Border Collie's profile should show a noticeable dip or curve from the top of the head down to the nose, especially at the point between the eyes. Purebred Border Collies often begin to develop erect ears after two months of age. If a puppy's ears have not started to stand erect by that age, there might be a chance it isn't purebred.
