Generally, it's better to let Persian cats roam freely. As natural explorers, cats thrive on freedom, which allows them ample exercise and positively impacts their mood. However, if your Persian cat is ill, keeping them in a cage is advisable. This makes cleaning and disinfection easier, while also providing them a quiet environment to rest and recover.

Free-ranging is preferable to caging for cats. They are naturally proud and independent creatures, and allowing them sufficient freedom greatly improves their well-being and enriches their lives.
